Client Portal + Zoom

What to Expect

Scheduling, Communication, and Virtual Sessions

Virtual mediation sessions are designed to be structured, private, and manageable from wherever you are.

This page explains how the Client Portal and Zoom work together, so you know where to go, what to check, and how to join when it’s time.

Hello, Client Portal!

Where everything lives

Your Client Portal is where session details and next steps are organized.

This is where you may:

  • Check upcoming session details.
  • Review messages and updates.
  • Find documents, links, and next steps.

Real-life note:
If you’re thinking, “I know I saw that somewhere…” — it’s probably in the client portal.

secure login

Access Your Portal

Use the button below to access your client portal.

You may be prompted to enter your email or use a secure link.

Once inside, you’ll see your session details, messages, and anything that needs your attention.

Real-life note:
If you’re not sure how to get in, check your email. There’s usually a direct link waiting there, minding its business.

What Happens Next

  • Upload required documents before your session through the Required Forms Upload Packet.
  • Keep documents clear, readable, and complete.
  • Additional documents may be discussed during the session if needed.

Real-life note:
This is just the prep stage. It does not all need to happen in one heroic laptop session. The goal is simply to have the needed information available and readable.

Joining Your Session

Zoom is where the mediation session takes place.

At your scheduled time:

  • Use the Zoom link provided before your session.
  • Join from a phone, tablet, or computer.
  • Choose a quiet, private space when possible.
  • Headphones are encouraged if possible

Real-life note:
Your space does not need to be perfect. Dogs bark, doorbells ring, and someone may absolutely choose that exact moment to start using a blender. The goal is simply to participate as comfortably and clearly as possible.

Separate Rooms and Privacy

  • breakout rooms may be used
  • participants do not need to remain together the entire time
  • separate locations are completely fine
  • mediation remains confidential

Real-life note:
You do not have to manage the Zoom choreography. The mediator will handle the room logistics.

If Technology Issues Happen

Technology issues can happen, and they are usually manageable.

  • Rejoin using the same Zoom link.
  • Try leaving and rejoining if audio or video freezes.
  • Reply to your session email if additional help is needed.

Real-life note: Virtual mediation does not require perfect technology or perfect timing. Frozen screens, Wi-Fi hiccups, and “Can you hear me now?” moments happen more often than people think — and they are usually resolved pretty quickly.
